After searching for a shop, I decided to bring my 1973 Cuda to Bob at Hammersteel Rustorations Inc. for body and paint. I was taken for a review of the shop and the different processes required to not only complete my car but to make it last. What impressed me was a one stop shop – sandblasting, metal work, body and paint all at Bob’s shop. As we implemented a plan for the restoration, we worked on a monthly budget and all work was photographed and reviewed with me every few weeks. All work was done with very high attention to detail with the best materials. After the final paint and colour sanding, the car looked absolutely stunning. The viper red paint was perfect and the body panels were as straight as an arrow. The body panels were all properly gapped to a tight tolerance.
I entered my Cuda in Performance World (Toronto’s indoor premier custom car show) in the spring of 2010. My car did great winning my class and the Mopar Street Machine award. We also picked up additional wins at many outdoor summer car shows.
I want to thank Bob very much for the great job he did on my Cuda. I would definitely recommend Hammersteel Rustorations Inc. to anyone that expects nothing but the best. See the amazing Cuda below!

We drive the car everywhere and put 3000-4000 miles on it every year. The car stands up to the test and still shows at a 96 to 98 level in Concours judging.
